RDA Essentials
RDA Essentials is a self-paced training module that provides Chairs, Deputy Chairs, members and staff with the information required to effectively undertake their roles.
RDA Essentials will cover:
- The structure of the RDA program
This will provide an overview of the RDA network, the RDA Charter and RIF, and the role of the Australian Government Minister and the Department. - Your key stakeholders
This includes:- the Minister
- Members of Parliament
- the department
- State, Territory and Local Governments
- your communities
- private sector businesses and industry associations
- not-for-profit organisations.
- The governance model for the RDA program
This will cover critical information outlined in the Funding Agreement, Better Practice Guide, the Code and Appointments Guide. - RDA Connect
This is the key online portal where RDAs can come together to collaborate and share information.
The estimated completion time for RDA Essentials is 45 minutes.
