Local people creating local opportunities

Regional Development Australia (RDA) Committees are made up of local people creating local opportunities.

Regions are incredibly diverse, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach - the government and RDAs are working with each other to solve the challenges and harness place-based opportunities.

Acknowledgement of Country

Regional Development Australia acknowledges First Nations peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Australia. We respect and celebrate the inherent strengths of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and their commitment to the land, waters and their communities. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Cultural safety message

Language and art are essential to the wellbeing, culture and identity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are advised that this website may contain images and voices of deceased people.
