Deputy Chair and Committee members

While the roles of regional and capital city RDA committees are somewhat different, the skills and experience requirements of all committee members are the same.
RDA Chairs are required to recommend Deputy Chair appointments to the Minister for agreement once appointment processes are completed. Members are appointed directly by their Chairs.
Committee members all play an active role in facilitating economic development opportunities and providing input into strategic direction and planning.
In addition, each RDA committee has a Director of Regional Development. The main focus of this role is supporting the committee to carry out their role.
All committee positions are advertised by individual RDA committees, via relevant online and media platforms, for example LinkedIn, Facebook and newspapers (online and print).
Unsolicited applications will not be considered.
