Celebrating a Decade of Business Excellence in Far West NSW

The Far West NSW Excellence in Business Awards continues to grow as the region's premier business recognition program, showcasing innovation, resilience, leadership, and community contribution across the Far West.

In 2025, the awards celebrated a significant milestone, marking the 10th year of recognising and promoting business excellence throughout the region. Over the past decade, the Awards have evolved from a local recognition initiative into a major regional event that brings together businesses, community leaders, government representatives, and industry stakeholders to celebrate success and inspire growth.

The 2025 awards achieved record participation, attracting almost 3,100 nominations, the highest number in the event's history. This milestone demonstrates the increasing engagement of local communities and the strong desire to recognise the achievements of businesses, organisations, and individuals who contribute to the economic and social prosperity of the Far West.

A highlight of the 2025 program was the recognition of two long-standing sponsors who have provided 10 years of continuous support to the awards. The awards also introduced the Dave Gallagher Memorial Award for Commitment to Community, honouring the legacy of a respected community leader while recognising individuals and organisations that demonstrate outstanding dedication to improving the lives of others across the Far West. The gala presentation evening attracted approximately 350 attendees, making it one of the region's largest business networking and recognition events.
