Round Three of the Bridges Renewal Programme now open

The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, the Hon Darren Chester MP has now launched Round Three of the Bridges Renewal Programme. The Minister's press announcement is available here http://www.minister.infrastructure.gov.au/chester/releases/2017/march/dc059_2017.aspx.
Round Three is now open to state, territory and local governments to apply for matching funding from the Australian Government for bridge renewal projects.
The Proposal period is from 17 March 2017 to 15 May 2017. Proposals will be accepted at any time during this period, but must be submitted prior to 11:59 pm (proponent's local time) on Monday 15 May 2017 to be considered for funding.
The Proposal Form and Programme Information are available on the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development's website at www.infrastructure.gov.au/bridges.
The guidelines and press announcement encourage proponents to discuss priorities with their local communities, industry stakeholders, Regional Development Australia committees and state road agencies early in the process.
