Win-Win Negotiations: Food and Agribusiness Workshops

On Tuesday, 16 October 2018, RDA Gold Coast, RDA Ipswich & West Moreton, RDA Logan & Redlands and Food Innovation Australia Ltd (FIAL) collaborated to hold a workshop titled ‘Win-Win Negotiations'.

The ‘Win-Win Negotiations’ workshop, led by Neil Rechlin, Director at NextGen Group, was interactive and entertaining as well as informative.

Forty-seven suppliers and business owners attended this workshop, which focused on the art of successful negotiation with domestic, national and international buyers.

Attendees gained an understanding of basic buyer metrics and KPIs, the CORE Negotiation 5 steps and 4 skills, variables of negotiation, the power curve and what can influence your ‘power’ with the customer, setting and mapping your SAW Parameters (Stretch, Acceptable and Walk away positions).
