Smart Cities and Suburbs Program—Round One projects

The Australian Government's $50 million Smart Cities and Suburbs Program is supporting the delivery of innovative smart city projects that improve the liveability, productivity and sustainability of cities and towns across Australia.
About fifty projects were funded under Round One of the Program and shared in $28.5 million of Australian Government funding. Funding flowed to all states and territories with nearly 40 per cent of projects being located in regional areas.
A second funding round is expected to open for applications in the first half of 2018.
Further information, including the list of successful projects and program guidelines, is available on the Smart Cities and Suburbs Program webpage.
