Dylan Strong, Regional Development Australia (RDA) Yorke and Mid North Executive Officer, has stressed the importance of gatherings like the South Australian Regional Development Conference, held at Kadina's new Copper Coast Sports and Leisure facility on June 7.  The conference was attended by more than 140 delegates.

“We want vibrancy, jobs, infrastructure, facilities, services and spaces to ensure an enhanced quality of life for our communities,” he said.

Mr Strong said that the conference gave those who drive regional development the opportunity to examine Australia's best case studies, hear from experts, and explore what has worked elsewhere.

The conference was led by RDA Yorke and Mid North and RDA Barossa, and sponsored by SA Water, Informed Decisions, Primary Industries and Regions SA, REMPLAN and Economic Development Australia.
