Riverina and Murray Pathways to Employment Expo

A recent collaboration between Regional Development Australian (RDA) Riverina, Multicultural NSW, the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business, the NSW Department of Industry, the Australian Red Cross and three communities in the Riverina and Murray regions to present the ‘Pathways to Employment Expo’ was held on May 15 in Western Sydney.

The towns of Leeton, Temora and Walla Walla showcased the great opportunities available for refugee and migrant families interested in locating to their region.

RDA Riverina EO, Rachel Whiting said, “this collaboration of agencies has developed a pathway of programs and supports to assist job seekers relocate from Western Sydney and be trained for their new employment, as well as being supported into the new community with assistance with such essentials as housing, health and community engagement”.
