RDA Hunter and RDA Central Coast are investigating opportunities for greater collaboration and to enhance advocacy through joining forces.  The two RDAs are discussing how they can assist both regions to achieve their full potential.

RDA Hunter Chair, John Turner, said, “For the Hunter and the Central Coast to grow our economies it is essential that we collaborate and advocate together for our regions and as a result will generate our fair share of funding from the State and Federal Government.”

RDA Central Coast Chair, Phil Walker, said, “The coming together of the two RDA Boards highlighted the breadth and depth of skills and expertise available between the two organisations.”

Proposed joint initiatives include the expansion of the STEM workforce development initiative and a unified approach to support and inform the NSW Government investigation into a fast rail connection for the two regions to Sydney.
