RDA Brisbane is supporting TCI Oceania's clustering event
RDA Brisbane is supporting TCI Oceania's clustering event on the Sunshine Coast at Marcoola, 5–8 June: "Why Clusters Matter—Growing Regional Trade & Investment through Clusters”. This is the first time such an event will take place in Queensland.
TCI is the global practitioners' network for competitiveness, clusters and innovation, with a head office in Barcelona. There will be four international speakers from Denmark, Scotland, France and New Zealand. They will address the ways in which clusters remove the isolation of business and regions, and build a culture of collaboration for increased innovation and competitiveness and the ability to connect globally.
Best-practice examples will be provided from Europe and beyond. The target audience is cluster practitioners, policy makers and regional and economic development professionals, who will be invited to take part in a full-day tour of the Sunshine Coast's most competitive clusters and business members.
A number of workshops will follow the main conference, which is sponsored by the Federal Government's Industry Growth Centres. There will also be a consultation session about the $20M SME Export Hubs initiative announced in the Federal Budget.
Further details about the event, the program and registration link can be found on the RDA Brisbane website.
