Orana Export Hub holds first meeting

The Orana Opportunity Network (O2N) Export Hub Advisory Committee convened for the first time on 22 August 2019, bringing together representatives from NSW’s private and public sectors, including RDA Orana and RDA Central West.

In April 2019 RDA Orana secured $234,887 in funding through the Commonwealth Government’s Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Export Hubs program. RDA Orana has matched this funding for the project.

The O2N Export Hub will target on the support and development of SMEs in the mining equipment, technology, and services industries in the Orana and Central West regions. This focus will identify commercial opportunities, facilitate an increase in investment and foster export openings for businesses.

Through the hosting of events and training seminars in the Orana and Central West regions, the establishment of business connections and collaborations are expected. This will lead to increased opportunities for growth, employment and increased penetration into local and overseas markets.
