New export hub for Orana region

Regional Development Australian (RDA) Orana has successfully secured $234,887 funding to establish an Export Hub.

The project will establish an Export Hub which will focus on the support and development of mining equipment and technology services for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) participants. The project will service the Orana and the Central West regions and will identify commercial opportunities, facilitate an increase in investment and develop an economic development strategy.

RDA Orana Chair, Mr John Walkom, said “This is a great outcome for the region, the funding for this hub will boost the economy by getting more businesses to access new and expanding markets and will be integral to creating business growth in the region.”

DA Orana will be recruiting an Export Development Manager to support the program.
