The Australian Government is calling on mobile black spot nominations from local, territory and state governments as well as Federal Members of Parliament, to identify locations for the next round of the $220 million Mobile Black Spot Program.

The Government will invest $25 million of Mobile Black Spot Program funding towards a fourth round, to deliver improved mobile coverage to more regional and remote communities across Australia.

Round 4 of the program will target regional and remote black spot locations across Australia. Input will be sought from state, territory and local governments, as well as business and community organisations to address locations that will provide strong economic or social benefits to communities including schools, hospitals and emergency facilities.

More information on how locations will be selected for funding under round 4 will be made available later this year.

Information on the program can be found here.
