RDA arrangements in Tasmania
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which sets out the arrangements for the creation of RDA in Tasmania was signed on 26 June 2009 by the Australian Government, the Tasmanian Government and the Local Government Association of Tasmania. The MoU supports the adoption of more integrated and aligned arrangements for regional engagement and economic development across all levels of government.

The Australian and Tasmanian Governments agreed to form one committee to service Tasmania. This committee is incorporated in Tasmania under the Associations Incorporation Act 1964 (Tasmania).
RDA committee membership in Tasmania
Committee members are committed volunteers drawn from the region who represent the community, business and local government. Interested members of the community can apply through Working with RDA.
