Induction Training for Chairs and Deputy Chairs

The newly appointed Chairs and Deputy Chairs of the 12 RDA Queensland committees attended an Induction Seminar on Thursday, 26 November 2009. Participants met and discussed their roles and responsibilities with officers from the Australian Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation, and a representative from the Local Government Association of Queensland. Participants also discussed the purpose of RDA, its work program, operation and governance.
