Memorandum of Understanding Signed by Australian and Western Australia Governments

On 25 August 2009, Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the Hon Maxine McKew MP, and Western Australian Minister for Regional Development and Lands, the Hon Brendon Grylls MP, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of the Australian and Western Australian Governments setting out the arrangements for Regional Development Australia (RDA) in Western Australia.
The MoU supports the adoption of more integrated and aligned arrangements for regional engagement and economic development between the Australian Government through the RDA network, and the Western Australian Government through the Regional Development Commissions.
