Memorandum of Understanding Signed by Australian and NT Governments

On 26 June 2009, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the Hon Maxine McKew MP, and Northern Territory Minister for Regional Development, the Hon Karl Hampton MLA, on behalf of the Australian and Northern Territory Governments, setting out the arrangements for the creation of Regional Development Australia (RDA) in the Territory.
This MoU supports the adoption of more integrated and aligned arrangements for regional engagement and economic development between the Australian and Northern Territory Governments.
