Committee Members Announced

The Australian and Northern Territory Governments have today announced the new Regional Development Australia (RDA) Northern Territory committee members.

The new members will join the RDA Chair, Alice Springs Mayor Damien Ryan, and the Deputy Chair, Darwin City Council Alderman Kerry Moir, in the new regional development organisation.

Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the Hon Maxine McKew MP, Member for Lingiari, the Hon Warren Snowdon MP, and Northern Territory Minister for Regional Development, the Hon Karl Hampton MLA, today congratulated the appointees:

These appointments follow the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on RDA Northern Territory by Parliamentary Secretary McKew and Minister Hampton in June 2009.
